Due to the aftermath of the storm, the Hazlet Township Public Schools will be unable to open Wednesday October 31st. Additional information for Thursday and Friday will be released when available.

Power will likely be out for SEVEN TO TEN DAYS. The entire electrical infrastructure throughout the state has been damaged. While JCP&L Crews are in town now and throughout the state, it will take several days to get the system back into operation.

The Hazlet Township Emergency Operations Center continues to be staffed around the clock as we continue our response and recovery efforts. The telephones at the EOC and Town Hall are not functioning but our calls are being answered by the Police Department for the time being. PLEASE, only call in the event of an actual emergency.
