The Hazlet
Library offers a variety of both adult and children's programming.
A monthly calendar of events is available at the library, and on
the Monmouth County Library Website at:
www.monmouthcountylib.org.
The library has books, DVDs,
videos, magazines and books on tape available for borrowing
with a valid library card. Internet access, Word, Excel and
PowerPoint are available, as is wireless Internet service.
Items can be renewed in person, by phone or through the
library website.
Online Catalog:
Patrons can access the library catalog through the Monmouth
County Library website. Patrons also can check their library
card accounts, renew materials on line and place requests on
materials. Numerous reference websites also can be accessed
through the library’s homepage.
Borrowing
Materials: Library cards are free to residents of Hazlet,
Keansburg, West Keansburg, Union Beach, Holmdel and most other
Monmouth County municipalities. Please check with the library
for specific exceptions.
Returning
Materials: When the library is closed, materials may be
returned in the drive-up library bookdrop, located outside
the side door in the parking lot between the library and police
headquarters.
Children's
Programs: Storytime is offered for toddlers,
preschoolers and school-aged children at six different times
per week. Special programs also are scheduled throughout the
year.
