Senior Farmer's Market Nutrition Program

The Senior Farmer’s Market Nutrition Program provides checks to eligible senior participants to buy locally grown fresh fruits, vegetables, and herbs from the local farmers during the growing season. Senior Farmer’s Market checks are to be used only at Farmer’s Markets, through individual farmers and roadside markets on an authorized list. Eligible applicants receive four (4) $5.00 vouchers that can be used at participating Farm Markets anywhere in the state of NJ from June 19 through November 30th. Our meetings start promptly at 2 PM. After each meeting we have refreshments and play bingo. We are usually done around 4 PM. The dues for the year are $3.00 and a fee of $1.00 every meeting covers refreshments and the rest of the money is used for activities and parties for the club members.
