Committeeman Scott Aagre, AIA

Scott Aagre has been a resident of Hazlet for over twenty-nine years and currently resides in the Township with his wife Regina and their two children. As an active member of the community for many years, Aagre has continuously put forth many efforts to assist and better the Township. Aagre formerly served as chairman on the Hazlet Township Republican Committee.    

Aagre is also a former member of the Hazlet Planning Board, which he served on from 1997 until 2003. For three of those years, he led the board as chairman. Aagre also served on the Hazlet Rent Control Board as chairman in 2000, and as a member from 1990 until 2002. His experience with building design and expansion within the town stems from his position as a licensed architect and he has also worked as a NJ Code and Zoning Analyst. Outside of Hazlet, Aagre is a member of the American Institute of Architects and the F&A Masonic Lodge 1092. His influence is continuously felt throughout his community and his efforts do not go unnoticed.
