JCP&L Proposed Transmission Line

The Hazlet Township Committee has received many emails, telephone calls and messages from our residents regarding the proposed transmission line on the New Jersey Transit corridor and we thank you for your input.
The Township Committee is also very concerned and understands your valid points and concerns completely; our families and friends are also affected by this project.
To date, we’ve had several formal discussions with JCP&L Representatives and Committee meetings on the subject matter. We are currently reviewing the scope of the project and seeking additional information.  As soon as we have completed our review and come to a consensus, the Township Committee will make a public announcement on this project in the very near future, probably at our next committee meeting or sooner.
