PUBLIC NOTICE: The Township experienced minor nuisance type flooding during recent weather events. Some flooding occurred at the usual low lying roadways and riverine intersections where upstream regional waters overwhelm the lower infrastructure systems. In addition, we experienced heavy rain runoff from one of our major construction sites onto adjoining properties. Upon notification of the flooding type conditions, Code Enforcement directed the Township engineer to investigate; where their inspector was dispatched and accessed the situation first hand.

New Jersey American Water LIFTS Precautionary Boil Water Advisory for Customers on Dover Court in Hazlet
 
VOORHEES, NJ (November 18, 2017) – New Jersey American Water has LIFTED the boil water advisory that was issued as precautionary measure for 14 customers on Dover Court, Hazlet N.J. Analytical results from bacteriological samples taken from the water system met all state and federal water quality standards. 
 
The advisory was issued on November 16 as a precautionary measure following a. leak in a 6-inch main on Dover Court.  
 
Customers no longer need to boil their water, but they should flush household pipes, ice makers, water fountains, etc. prior to using for drinking or cooking using these guidelines:

Now through spring 2018, NJNG will be exchanging a number of natural gas meters in our community as required by the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities. Residents will be notified if their meter is scheduled to be exchanged. There is no cost to you for this service.
