Mission Statement
The Hazlet
Alliance exists to meet the need for a comprehensive and coordinated
substance abuse plan and program to prevent and reduce alcohol
and drug abuse in our community, in cooperation with the Governor’s
Council on Alcoholism and Drug Abuse and with the Monmouth County
Board of Alcohol and Drug Abuse Services.
What The Alliance
Is All About...
The Hazlet Township Alliance to Prevent Alcoholism & Drug
Abuse is an organization comprised of members of the community,
including teachers, parents, administrators, community members
and police. Through education, workshops, lectures, and sponsorships
of drug and alcohol free youth programs, the organization focuses
on drug, alcohol, and violence prevention in our community and
schools.
How To Join The Alliance
The Alliance usually meets every 3rd Wednesday of the month at
7pm in the courtroom at the Hazlet Police Dept. Anyone wishing
to join can come to the meeting.
