CRIME PREVENTION UNIT:

Recently started the Crime Prevention Unit is concerned with the quality of life issues confronting the residents of Hazlet Township. A major focus of the unit is the start of a neighborhood watch program offered to all residents of the township. The Police Department also offers several other programs to any group ranging from talks on personal safety to phone fraud and various other scams. Home security surveys are offered to homeowners who wish to have a police officer come to their home and cover all aspects of making their home safer from burglary attempts.
