Tara Clark has lived in Hazlet for 30 years with her family. She was elected to the Hazlet Township Committee in 2018 for a three-year term beginning in 2019. During her tenure, Clark has served on the Communications Committee, Environmental Commission, and Library Committee. Prior to being appointed to the Township Committee, she served on the legal team of Residents Against Giant Electric (RAGE), that successfully defeated the proposed monster power lines.
Clark earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from St. John’s University and worked in public accounting and in private industry as a CPA and CMA. Later in her career, she earned a Masters Degree in Elementary Education from Monmouth University. She has worked as an educator in the East Brunswick Public School system for the past 23 years.
Tara Clark and her husband Walter have been married for 30 years and have three daughters, Meghan, Delaney, and Brianna.
