Place your container in the street at curbside with the wheels facing your residence no later than 6 am on your scheduled collection day. The container must have the minimum of 5 feet on both sides to allow for the automatic arm to safely pick up the container.
Keeping the Container Clear
You should also keep the container clear of:
- Cars
- Fire hydrants
- Mail boxes
- Overhead obstructions such as basketball hoops and trees
- Street signs
- Telephone poles
Misplaced Recycling
Do not place your cardboard or newspapers on top of the container. They should be left off to the side. If the truck can not pick up the container safely, then it will be left curbside for your next scheduled collection day.
