The intent of the ordinances that have been adopted by the township gives the township the authority to regulate development in conformance with the Municipal Lane Use Law (N.J.S.A. 40:55D-1 ).
By adopting such rules and regulations that govern all residential and non- residential properties within the township it helps to prevent overdevelopment.
