Hazlet residents are served by the following mass transportation companies: 

Academy Bus - Visit the website for Timetables, Fares and Ticket Info, Map, Park and Ride and more. Academy runs routes along Route 35 and Route 36 to Port Authority; and from Route 36 and Garden State Parkway 116 Park & Ride to Wall Street. There is a ticket office across from Airport Plaza at Route 36 and Middle Road.

NJ Transit  Hazlet is a train stop on the North Jersey Coast Line. Visit NJTransit for Train Schedules, Train Tickets, Alerts and more. There are two parking lots at the station, serviced by NJ Transit or Hazlet Township.  Train tickets can be purchased via the mobile app or at the station kiosks.

SeaStreak Ferries; NYC commuter ferry service to the New York area from Highlands and Atlantic Highlands. Also provides day trips to tourist destinations. See schedule.

SCAT Bus: The MCDOT provides public and specialized transportation services for seniors (60 and over) and permanently disabled residents of Monmouth County through direct operation and contracted service; promotes and provides supportive services for public transit services in Monmouth County.
