The holiday falls on Sunday, the weather after 2 pm looks clear and many Hazlet parents are excited for this return to tradition and fun. By local ordinance, kids should be home by 8 pm unless under the supervision of a parent or guardian. There are exceptions.

Hazlet Got Soaked
A powerful nor'easter dumped 4.55 inches of rain on Hazlet Tuesday, Oct. 26, sweeping Hazlet into one of the top spots in the state for inundation. There was street flooding as some creeks temporarily overflowed. The local NBC News station came to take video and interview Hazlet Police Chief Ted Wittke about the situation in town. See the video report. There was also coverage in the Asbury Park Press, Patch, and other publications.
