Don't miss the HazletHalloween Bonfire hosted by Hazlet Recreation!
The event is Saturday, Oct. 23 to Leocadia Court Park (off S. Laurel Avenue). Come for Halloween family-friendly fun under the moon. There will be unusual characters, glowing gifts for the kiddos, Trunk or Treat, ghost story readings by local talent, spooky music, a costume parade, and demos by our first responders. The event is 4 to 9 pm. Costumes encouraged!
Parking Parking is extremely limited on Leocadia Court, so please park at Lillian Drive School or nearby and hop on the shuttle bus. The bus will circulate between the school and Leocadia Park from 4:30 pm to 8:30 pm. It will be easy and fun!
4 pm to 6 pm - Hazlet First Aid will show the public how the Jaws of Life is used to extricate motor vehicle victims. There will also be a Touch a Truck opportunity with First Aid and Fire.
4:30 to 5:30 pm - Children can use their free ticket to visit the Trunk or Treat!
5:45 pm to 6 pm - A Halloween Parade around the track.
As night falls, we will hear ghost stories! Food trucks will serve barbecue, hot dogs, ice cream and more.
6:45 pm - The bonfire will be lit and continue until the event's end under the supervision of Hazlet firefighters.
