Our new website has launched!

Hazlet Township's website has undergone a major refresh. The new township website will enhance the township's ability to engage and serve its citizens in new and different ways.

The website, located at, launched January 10, 2020.

In coming days, users will be able to sign up for a customizable calendar alerts about township events, including public meetings,  classes, recreation programs and special activities.

Changing web use, better technology and the community's desire to be better informed drove the decision to upgrade with municipal government website provider CivicPlus. With more people accessing information with hand-held devices, the new website has been designed to be responsive and user-friendly for mobile use.

Deputy Mayor Tara Clark met with a citizens group over several months to select priorities in design and function.

In addition to faster, mobile-optimized experience, Hazlet's new website now features visually crisp design, photos, enhanced menus, an improved calendar, important ADA accessibility upgrades, a 311 citizen request tool and updates from Hazlet Township. There will be online payments available for tax and sewer bills. Agendas and minutes will be fully searchable. Please be patient as we continue to add new content and acclimate ourselves to using the website's functions.
