New! COVID-19 Testing at Middletown Train Station

Middletown Township COVID-19 Testing

Middletown Township is opening up its COVID-19 testing program at its train station to residents of Hazlet. Visit this page on the Middletown Township website to learn how to pre-register to expedite the process. No appointment necessary, and nobody will be turned away for lack of insurance. The location is the main parking lot off Middletown-Lincroft Road.  


  • Sundays, 9am to 4pm
  • Mondays & Fridays: 1 to 7 pm.

The next testing date will be this Friday, 1/15 from 1 to 7 PM. 


Hazlet Township is served by the Monmouth County Health Dept. which offers upcoming testing dates in Asbury Park and Keansburg and Long Branch. No appointment necessary. 

They are: 

  • Jan. 13 at Freehold, 4-7 pm, Freehold Boro Fire Dept. (Main Building) 49 W. Main St.
  • Jan. 15 at Asbury Park, 9 am to noon, Asbury Park Transportation Center, 1 Municipal Plaza
  • Jan. 23 at Long Branch, 9 am to noon, Bucky James Community Center, 231 Wilbur Ray Ave. 
  • Jan. 29 at Neptune, 9 am to noon, Neptune First Aid, 5 Neptune Blvd
  • Feb. 3 at Freehold, 9 am to noon, Freehold Boro Fire Dept. (Main Building) 49 W. Main St. 
  • Feb. 4 at Asbury Park, 4 to 7 pm, Asbury Park Transportation Center, 1 Municipal Plaza 
  • Feb. 10 at Keansburg, 9 am to noon, New Point Comfort Firehouse, 192 Carr Ave.
