Veterans Park is situated in the same complex with the James J. Cullen Recreation Center and Municipal Hall. It is adjacent and easily within walking distance to the Hazlet Swim and Tennis Club, the skate park, hockey rink and bocce ball pit.
The park includes a shaded picnic grove, ballfield, volleyball, horseshoe pits and playground which is shared by all picnic users. Electricity is available in each section.
The Memorial Park monuments are steps away, in a quiet area located between the Cullen Center and Union Avenue.
